Texas Oncology is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Physicist (MS) or (PhD) to join our regional group serving the Rio Grande Valley, anchored at Harlingen, TX. The role collaborates with network physicists to maintain high standards for radiation therapy quality and safety.

The successful candidate will evaluate equipment, contribute to quality management, oversee information systems, and lead clinical projects while ensuring compliance with ABR and CAMPEP requirements and Texas licensing.

Competenze

• Master’s or PhD in Physics/Medical Physics required.
• ABR certification or CAMPEP residency completed or board-eligible.
• Texas Medical Board license required or must be obtained.

Mansioni

• Periodic evaluation of equipment for continued utility and replacement planning.
• Contribute to design and implementation of quality management for external beam radiotherapy.
• Assist in management of radiation oncology information systems and data storage.
• Oversee radiation safety duties including monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Lead or participate in clinical projects to improve department processes and patient care.
