Opportunity for a Medical Oncologist with Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown!

• Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a Medical Oncologist. Currently, two physicians are part of our hospital-based group across 3 locations in the Greater Youngstown, Ohio region. The candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to develop and strengthen the cancer treatment team. Board certification or eligibility is required.

• Services offered include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and a broad array of oral chemotherapy drugs.
• The Oncology program participates in national cooperative and vendor-sponsored clinical trials.
• Mercy Health is committed to expanding offerings for multidisciplinary, site-specific tumor boards and clinics, with dedicated nurse navigators covering all cancer diagnoses.
• The team includes two nurse practitioners and ancillary personnel such as dieticians and social workers.
• Comprehensive survivorship services are supported by three dedicated Nurse Navigators.
• This is a hospital employment opportunity with no overhead or buy-in requirements.
