Job description

New Medical Oncology Full-Time Locum Opportunity in Northern AZ

Start Date: March 14, 2022

Requirements: BC or BE, AZ state license, and DEA certification

Note: Licensing in AZ takes approximately 7 days.

Contract Length: 6 months, full-time hours

Typical Hours: 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm

Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day

Location: 4 days at one location and half a day at a location 30 minutes away

Job Details:

1. One full-time oncologist currently on staff
2. After-hours coverage by the on-site oncologist; calls triaged by an answering service
3. Office assistance includes 2 Medical Assistants, 1 RN, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Referral Specialist, 2 Front Desk Receptionists, 1 Patient Advocate, and a Practice Manager (not always on site)
4. Phone coverage outside of regular hours (8am-5pm) is required
