Job description

JOB TITLE (# 25177): General Oncology Physician - Buffalo, NY

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a General Oncology Physician for a healthcare system in Buffalo, New York.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) or equivalent degree.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
• Unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Board Certified in Oncology.
• Active DEA registration.

Benefits:

• Salary: $164/hr, competitive and negotiable.

Schedule:

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation and treatment to inpatients and outpatients.
• Evaluate, triage, and prioritize outpatient consults.
• Obtain medical histories, conduct physical exams, order labs, and prescribe treatments.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform administrative tasks such as peer review and professional evaluations.
• Provide on-call oncology services as assigned.
• Deliver oncology surgical services meeting or exceeding national standards of the American Board of Internal Medicine Medical Oncology Board.
