Job description

We are seeking a Board-CertifiedLocums Radiation Oncologist to provide part-time coverage in Bloomington, ILfrom Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25. This short-term opportunityrequires onsite presence during clinic hours to support treatment delivery andpatient care.

Position Details:

• Dates: July 21-25, 2025
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Setting: Outpatient Radiation Oncology
• Call: None

Key Responsibilities:

• Be onsite daily to support radiation therapy treatments
• Conduct On-Treatment Visits (OTVs) on Wednesday
• Collaborate with the care team, including therapists, nurses, and dosimetrists
• Monitor and assess patient progress throughout the treatment week
• Ensure seamless continuity of care and immediate response to clinical needs

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology - required
• Active Illinois medical license
• DEA and CSR certification
• BLS and ACLS certification
