Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Los Angeles, CA seeks an MD-level clinical development leader to oversee late-stage oncology studies and guide cross-functional teams from lab to life. You will mentor scientists and collaborate with Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and GCO to ensure compliant study conduct.

Your responsibilities include developing study protocols, leading start-up activities, authoring core documents, and supporting regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Requires MD or equivalent medical degree (Board certified/eligible preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years in a relevant urology/oncology clinical research role.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20–30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Leads project scientists with training, mentoring and supervision in late-stage clinical development.
• Coordinates with Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, GCO, QMMC, GMS for integrated study execution.
• Supports development and oversight of high-quality study protocols and regulatory documents.
• Oversees site activation, NDA/MAA compilation, and responses to Health Authorities.
• Engages with CROs and investigators to drive study progress and quality.
