Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Abstracts clinical/demographic information to assign ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes.
• Identifies principal and secondary diagnoses with high accuracy.
• Codes procedures with correct codes and maintains QA standards.
• Requests additional diagnosis details from physicians when needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical records and adheres to compliance standards.
