Job summary

OneOncology is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist to perform charge review and ensure accurate coding for oncology services. Responsibilities include reviewing operative reports, performing audits, and communicating coding issues with practice leadership.

The ideal candidate should have a Professional coding certification and a minimum of 4 years of coding experience. Knowledge of medical oncology coding is highly preferred. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years coding experience preferred.
• 2 years of experience performing chart audits required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily charge review for accurate coding.
• Review operative reports to assign CPT and ICD10 codes.
• Assist practice leadership in analyzing data and proposing coding solutions.

Skills

Professional coding certification

CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding
