Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist physicians with procedures in our Venice Pinebrook Office. You will perform phlebotomy, conduct laboratory testing, ensure quality control, troubleshoot instruments, and help with maintenance tasks.

The role requires High School or GED, BLS within 30 days, and a Medical Assistant Certification. Travel to other clinic locations is possible (<25%). Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Medical Assistant Certification from an approved board.
• One year of MA experience preferred with venipuncture ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with medical procedures in the office.
