Job summary

Compass Oncology in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians in a fast-paced oncology clinic. You will help with rooming patients, taking vitals, and coordinating care as part of a dedicated team.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate data entry, and adherence to safety protocols. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours; prior oncology or phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistants program preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and assists clinicians.
• Records vital signs, height, weight, and medical history prior to visits.
• Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies as needed.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
