The role requires MA program completion with externship or equivalent experience, EPIC familiarity, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with externship (160 hours) required or equivalent.
• EMR experience, preferably EPIC, is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform a wide range of ambulatory clinical tasks and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, escort to exam room, and obtain medical histories.
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect lab specimens.
• Schedule appointments and manage medical records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Support in minor on-site surgical procedures and wound care.
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and rooms.

Licensed Paramedic/EMT with 1-year clinical experience

Military trained medical personnel with 1-year clinical experience
