Providence Swedish First Hill in Seattle is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator II licensed/MA-C to support the SCI Reid Family Innovative Therapeutics and Research Unit (ITU). The role involves independent planning and a wide spectrum of supportive duties.

Responsibilities include scheduling new patients, follow-up appointments, coordinating tests, obtaining verifications and authorizations, maintaining medical records, and handling billing questions while triaging calls.

Qualificações

• Graduate of certified medical assistant program.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required on hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule new patients and follow-up clinic appointments.
• Coordinate subsequent treatments and requested diagnostic tests.
• Obtain insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.
• Prepare and maintain the patient’s medical record.
• Reconcile billing issues and triage phone calls.
• Answer multiple phone lines and provide triage as needed.
