McLaren Health Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Radiation Oncology patients and clinic staff in Flint, MI. You will assist with patient preparation, history taking, vital signs, phlebotomy, and clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Daily responsibilities include scheduling imaging/tests (X-ray, MRI, PET, Sim), chart reviews, and coordination of care with nurses and physicians. On-site work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in a full-time role.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of approved Medical Assistant program or 1 year experience as a medical assistant.
• BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with nurses and radiation oncologists to deliver patient care.
• Complete weekly chart reviews for consults and follow-ups on Fridays 12:00–4:00 pm.
• Perform scheduling, patient registration, triage calls, and clinic billing in IMPAC system.
• Provide direct clinical coverage for outreach radiation oncology clinic; back-up for Owosso clinic.
• Prepare materials for clinic operations and schedule tests as needed.
• Assist with patient procedures and maintain exam/HDR rooms.
