Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) is part of Advocate Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems. This part-time Medical Assistant role supports the care team across 13 Aurora Cancer Care Clinics in the Greater Milwaukee area, with a float pool offering varied experience and stable daytime hours.

The position is approximately 24 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with floating options and no weekend or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
