Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in all aspects of the initial consultation
• Schedule and follow up on diagnostic studies and obtain physician signatures
• Draw blood for lab tests and follow up on results
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
• Document medications, current and prescribed, with doses and instructions
• Chart patient vitals and weights; manage patient records and consent forms
