Job summary

Compass Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant to float between clinics, supporting physicians and clinicians with patient care, rooming patients, vitals, and documentation. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to clinic workflows within an oncology setting.

The position requires a High school diploma or MA program certificate and CPR certification, with 1–3 years of MA/Nursing assistant experience and phlebotomy preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record patient data with vitals and related information.
• Obtain necessary patient records and prior test results.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and assist physicians with procedures.
• Administer injections as directed by physicians.
