Job summary

McLaren Health Care's Oncology department is hiring a Medical Assistant to support Radiation Oncologists, RNs and cancer center staff in delivering coordinated patient care. You will perform basic clinical and office tasks, enabling timely care and smooth workflow.

Day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, full-time with typical biweekly hours of 80. Collaboration with nursing and medical staff is essential to ensure quality patient care for oncology patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of approved Medical Assistant program or 1 year of experience as a medical assistant.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurses and staff with basic clinical tasks and office functions.
• Coordinate patient care with nursing team to ensure timely, quality care.
