Job summary

Ascension in Appleton, WI seeks a dedicated team member for the Oncology department, working Days schedule in a Full-time role at Ascension St Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Center. This position supports patient care by following physician orders and performing clinical duties under supervision, with focus on preparing rooms and maintaining a safe, organized environment.

You will complete patient interviews, record vital signs, manage routine clerical tasks, and help keep the clinic well stocked.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Blended clinical and clerical duties require basic healthcare knowledge and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care by executing physician-ordered treatments and clinical duties under supervision.
• Conduct initial patient interviews, measure vital signs and accurately record health data in patient charts.
• Prepare treatment and examination rooms to maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.
• Manage essential clerical tasks including answering phone inquiries, filing records and supporting clinic workflow.
• Maintain clinical inventory by ordering and stocking supplies to keep care areas fully operational.
