Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
• Basic Medical Terminology knowledge is requested.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
• Electronic Scheduling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to performance standards, policies and behaviors.
• Fulfills patient care responsibilities, checks schedules and manages patient flow.
• Assists with exams, prepares for procedures and collects specimens as needed.
• Verifies insurance coverage and updates patient charts.
• Maintains clean exam rooms and stocking of supplies.
