Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required.
• Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
• Lab/EKG experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioner in performance of procedures and maintain patient records.
• Handle telephone prescription orders/refills and relay test results.
• Support care coordination to ensure seamless, high-quality cancer care for patients.
