Job summary

SCL Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, document thoroughly, and provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families.

Responsibilities include monitoring treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation when needed, and possibly floating to other departments or being placed on-call as required by the unit

Qualifications

• ASN nursing degree is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice required; BLS and ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions per standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans; refer as needed.
