Allina Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 30-bed E3000 Oncology unit in Minneapolis. The role supports hematology/oncology patients, with general medicine and palliative care components.

Nurses work 12-hour nights with 36 hours per week and a 3rd weekend rotation, in a Magnet facility focused on patient advocacy and excellent cancer care. The unit features a range of experience, from new grads to 30+ year veterans, and opportunities to participate in chemo administration and committees

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required for RN position.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient assessment and care planning.
• Coordinate and delegate to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain ongoing education to provide high-quality care.
• Perform supplemental roles such as Charge Nurse or Preceptor when applicable.
• Attend to organizational requirements and participate in councils.
