Texas Oncology is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join the Houston South Region. Must reside in Texas with travel up to 20% between clinics; bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus. Sites include Pearland, Houston Southeast, Memorial City, Medical Center, and Sugar Land.

Hours are 8a-5p, Monday through Friday. Texas Oncology is a leading community oncology provider with 600+ providers across 300+ sites.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an CSWE-accredited program.
• Valid Texas state LCSW license required (clinical level).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a health-care setting; oncology experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides therapeutic counseling to patients, families, and caregivers for psychosocial needs.
• Assesses and treats mental, emotional, and behavioral issues; documents session notes and billing if applicable.
• Coordinates with medical team and connects patients to community resources and services.
• Develops and maintains support groups; supports survivors and transitions in care.
• Documents all interventions accurately in the EMR; ensures timely billing notes if applicable.
• Engages in quality improvement activities and may supervise MSW students.
