Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support the Gulf Coast North Region. Travel up to 20% between clinics; must reside in Texas. Hours are 8a-5p, Monday through Friday.

Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus. Sites include Kingwood, Kingwood North, The Woodlands, Houston Northwest and Conroe. The MSW must be CSWE-accredited, hold a Texas LCSW, and bring 3-5 years of clinical social work experience in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from CSWE-accredited program.
• 3-5 years experience in clinical social work in healthcare; oncology/palliative care preferred.
• Valid Texas state Master’s clinical license (LCSW).
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Assesses and treats mental, emotional, and behavioral issues.
• Documents interventions in EMR and billing notes as required.
• Collaborates with medical team to address psychosocial needs and transitions.
