Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Gulf Coast North Region team in Texas. Travel up to 20% between clinics; must reside in Texas; bilingual Spanish a huge plus.

Hours are 8a-5p, Monday through Friday. The LCSW will participate in psychosocial assessment, support cancer patients and families, coordinate resources, and collaborate with the medical team to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work required.
• Texas LCSW license required.
• 3–5 years clinical social work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Coordinate emotional, social, and financial services with care teams.
• Maintain EMR documentation and timely billing notes when applicable.
• Participate in distress, depression screening, and care planning.
