Responsibilities

• Performs assays of biological specimens according to policies and procedures.
• Reviews and reports results with proper documentation and alerts for anomalies.
• Maintains equipment and performs routine preventive maintenance with documentation.
• Performs quality control procedures and follows SOPs when tests are outside acceptable limits.
• Takes and analyzes proficiency test samples following proper procedures.
• Identifies and reports issues affecting test performance and results.
• Documents corrective actions and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and follows safety and infection control procedures.
