Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking an Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will assess, administer medications, document care, and advocate for patients and families.

You will work with medical providers to develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families about treatment options and side effects, and participate in hospital initiatives that advance nursing practice.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice or compact license
• ACLS/BCLS as required within 30 days of start date
• <1 year of applicable clinical experience preferred
• Must provide safe, compassionate and evidence-based patient care

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts and report changes
• Administer medications and document care accurately in the medical record
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively meet needs
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up care
