Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on compassionate treatment and collaboration with the care team.

You will use established nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care, advocating for patients and families to ensure optimal outcomes and a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Less than 1 year applicable experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS/ACLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
