RMH Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, West Virginia, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing support to physicians and direct patient care in an inpatient setting. You will collaborate with registered nurses and other team members to implement the plan of care and promote patient comfort and better outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN license (state or eNLC), completes Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire, and passes background checks.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state where services are provided or a multi-state LPN license through eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• State criminal background check and Federal checks as required.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care per the plan of care and as directed by the overseeing role.
• Consults with the RN or Respiratory Therapist for guidance in nursing care delivery.
• Performs designated therapeutic procedures for assigned patients as needed.
• Observes, records and reports patient concerns, symptoms and progress promptly.
• Assists physicians and overseeing role with examinations and procedures.
• Contributes to nursing assessment by collecting and recording data.
• Monitors patient condition and reports deviations from normal health status.
• Assists in developing and updating the patient’s plan of care.
• Assists in patient/family education and rehabilitation per teaching plan.
• Documents nursing interventions and responses to care.
• Administers medications via IM, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization and/or MDI as assigned.
• Obtains instruction from the overseeing role when implementing nursing techniques.
