Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute – SouthPark in Charlotte, NC is seeking a transplant-registered nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care across the transplant pathway, from evaluation through postop follow-up, in a setting that emphasizes compassion and evidence-based practice.

The role requires an accredited nursing program, valid RN licensure in NC, and BSN enrollment if not yet completed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program upon hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
• Oncology and triage experience

Responsibilities

• The RN Transplant is a professional registered nurse and a designated member of the transplant team who provides comprehensive nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies, procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader.
• The RN works with patients and their families beginning with the evaluation and will continue through the transplant process.
