Job summary

Florida Oncology and Hematology seeks a PRN Infusion Registered Nurse in Cape Coral for part-time duties. You will provide safe patient care, assess and monitor patients, administer cancer therapies as ordered, and educate patients and caregivers in a compassionate, professional manner.

The role requires an RN license, current CPR/BLS, and experience with oncology or hematology patients. Strong documentation in EMR and ability to work across locations with travel up to 25% are expected.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and active RN license in state of employment.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients preferred.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care per orders.
• Assess patients, review labs and vital signs, verify dosages.
• Triage calls and educate patients and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in trainings.
