Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Licensed Nurse within State of Maine required.
• ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire
• Two years plus nursing professional experience required
• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
• OCN required within 1 year of hire or when eligible based on ONCC criteria
• INS required within 2 years of hire or when eligible based on INS criteria

Responsibilities

• Draw blood from ports, central lines, and peripheral IV access; perform other procedures as needed.
• Assist physicians and conduct patient assessments.
• Maintain patient care standards and ensure safe, effective care documentation.
• Deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and non-oncology infusions per protocols and NECS guidelines.
