Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, accurate, and efficient patient care in a hematology/oncology setting at our Fort Wayne clinic.

The role includes patient assessment, lab review, dose verification, and administration of chemotherapy and other oncologic therapies under provider orders. Responsibilities include triage, education for patients and caregivers, meticulous EMR documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment or multi-state license
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations
• Hematology/oncology experience in clinic or hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care per providers’ orders
• Triage calls and messages from patients, families, and facilities
• Document treatment in EMR thoroughly and accurately
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and treatment plans
