Job summary

LeoForce in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Oncology/Chemo) for a part-time outpatient infusion role. You will provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, administer chemotherapy under physician supervision, and support patients through treatment with a focus on safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RN license, BLS/CPR, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).

Qualifications

• Active California RN license and current BLS/CPR certification.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong IV therapy and vascular access skills.
• Experience with port-a-caths and PICC lines.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer applications.
• Excellent customer service and patient communication skills.
• Knowledge of oncology/hematology terminology.
• Oncology/hematology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and other meds under physician supervision.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor during treatment.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.
• Operate ambulatory infusion pumps and manage vascular access devices.
• Draw blood through central venous access devices and manage scheduling in EMR.
• Verify billing authorization and medication approvals prior to administration.
• Monitor anticoagulation therapy and provide patient education.
• Document care accurately and participate in quality improvement.
• Support patient engagement via electronic health records and patient portal.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and assist with clinic operations.
