Job summary

Texas Oncology in McKinney is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Infusion Department. This full-time role is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Under supervision, you will provide professional nursing care, administer therapies, monitor patients, and document treatments. The ideal candidate has an RN license, BLS, oncology experience, and may be at level 1, 2, or Sr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• RN license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in oncology preferred; level can be 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care with established standards.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision, including medications and blood products.
• Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient and labs and consulting the treatment plan.
• Perform venipuncture and maintain central lines; document care and treatments.
