Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer – Rutherford Clinic/ Forest City is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position in Forest City, NC. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards and procedures.

Join a dedicated ambulatory oncology team and contribute to patient outcomes across the continuum while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Oncology infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to enhance patient safety and experience.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols.
