Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of chemotherapy or oncology infusion experience preferred.
• Oncology/hematology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely calculate, prepare, and administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Review and verify laboratory values prior to treatment administration.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions for reactions, side effects, and changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and supportive care resources.
• Triage patient calls and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Identify complications and initiate nursing interventions promptly.
