Job summary
Tennessee Cancer Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse to administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients, following treatment plans from our oncology and hematology providers. This role is essential to delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.
You will educate patients about their treatments, provide emotional support, and work with a compassionate team in a fast-paced infusion setting.
Qualifications
- Requires professional nursing degree and TN licensure.
- BLS required; BSN preferred.
- Experience in oncology/infusion nursing advantageous.
- Chemo-Immuno and OCN certifications encouraged within 1st year.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor and document chemotherapy and infusion treatments per treatment plans.
- Educate patients about therapies and potential side effects.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA/OSHA policies.
- Collaborate with oncology team to ensure timely and safe care.
