Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager, Oncology & Infusion Pharmacy Services to lead operations, clinical programs, and strategic initiatives across oncology and infusion services within the regional network.

This leadership role oversees staff, budgets, safety, and quality, working with physicians, nurses, and executives to advance patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum five years of pharmacist experience with leadership experience.
• Active Connecticut pharmacist licensure or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Oncology/infusion or hospital pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
• Strong financial, analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily regional operations of oncology and infusion pharmacy services, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication management.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives, new programs, service line growth opportunities, and process improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, productivity metrics, and KPIs.
• Promote medication safety, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
• Serve as the pharmacy subject matter expert for oncology and infusion services, supporting evidence-based medication use and clinical best practices.
• Oversee 340B program compliance, managed care utilization strategies, revenue integrity initiatives, and cost-containment efforts.
• Pharmacist and pharmacy staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, coaching, competency assessment, and performance management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive stakeholders to align operational and clinical priorities.
• Manage pharmacy procurement, inventory, contract compliance, medication distribution, compounding, and investigational drug activities.
• Support educational programs, staff development, clinical initiatives, and interdisciplinary patient care activities.
