Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a staff pharmacist for Oncology Infusion with IV certification. The role supports the Clinical Trial Unit infusion operations, supervises technicians and oversees IV admixture for hazardous and non-hazardous medications, including weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or PharmD degree.
• 1 year of pharmacy experience and English proficiency.
• Eligible for licensure by Texas Board of Pharmacy on hire; ACPE-IV sterile compounding certification; BLS certification; advanced life support readiness.

Responsibilities

• Performs IV admixture and oversees infusion pharmacy operations.
• Supervises technicians and ensures accuracy of medications.
• Reviews orders for safety and documents interventions as needed.
• Follows policies, infection control, and state/federal regulations.
• Supports clinical programs and participates in P&T initiatives.
