Job summary

Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide professional nursing care for oncology patients. You will participate in infusion therapies, assess patients, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive cancer treatment plans.

The role involves administering therapies under physician supervision, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring accurate records and scheduling of procedures across oncology clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
• 0-3 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assesses health status by interviewing patient and medical history.
• Administers therapies under physician supervision and ensures consent forms when applicable.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of care.
• Facilitates patient flow, consultations, and scheduling of tests or procedures.
