Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician to deliver specialized care in an outpatient infusion setting. You will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, ensuring safe administration and education for patients and families.

This role requires strong clinical expertise in oncology, adherence to professional nursing standards, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• A. Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antineoplastic agents, hazardous drugs, and targeted therapies according to physician orders.
• B. Provides safe, patient-centered care in oncology infusion therapy within outpatient infusion centers.
• C. Maintains age-appropriate and culturally aware care, addressing patient/family education and psychosocial needs.
• D. Serves as a clinical resource to nursing staff, operational leadership, and medical staff.
• E. Participates in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education; may act as a preceptor for new RN staff.
• F. Adheres to Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
