Job summary

Trinity Health’s Infusion Services in Ann Arbor/Canton/Brighton seeks a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Clinic. You will care for Oncology and non-Oncology patients with chemo/Immunotherapy and supportive therapies, supported by a professional team and EPIC EMR.

The role requires a BSN by five years, Michigan RN license, BLS, and chemotherapy certification; OCN encouraged. Shift is day, full-time, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• All new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.
• Current Michigan Nursing License
• BLS
• All our Infusion Nurses are required to obtain their Chemotherapy Certification, and are strongly encouraged to obtain their OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically; consider physical, psychosocial, emotional, age specific, cultural and spiritual factors.
• Demonstrate critical thinking by gathering and analyzing patient information and responding to a patient situation.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise an individualized plan of care using evidence-based interventions and standards of care.
• Identify patient and family education needs; develop and implement teaching plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Create an environment that promotes a positive patient experience.
• Communicate information accurately and timely, including EMR documentation.
• Maintain rapport and cooperative relationships; address conflicts constructively.
