Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Ann Arbor/Canton/Brighton is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Clinic. You will provide chemotherapy and immunotherapy administrations, supportive care, and collaborate with Oncology and non-Oncology teams to deliver comprehensive care.

The role requires a BSN, active Michigan Nursing License, and BLS. Chemotherapy Certification is required; OCN is encouraged. Day shift, full-time position with a strong benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree required or must agree to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certification.
• Chemotherapy Certification required; OCN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically; considers physical, psychosocial, emotional, age specific, cultural and spiritual factors.
• Demonstrate critical thinking by gathering and analyzing patient information and responding to a patient situation.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise an individualized plan of care using evidence-based interventions.
• Identify patient and family education needs; build teach-back plans; plan for discharge.
• Create an environment that promotes a positive patient experience.
• Communicate patient status and interventions clearly to colleagues and other disciplines.
• Maintain good rapport and address conflicts constructively.
