Connecticut Oncology Group seeks an experienced Infusion Nurse to provide safe, compassionate cancer care across all treatment stages. You will work with physicians to deliver chemotherapy and supportive therapies, document accurately, and support patients and families.

Travel to nearby clinics (Middletown, Westbrook) as needed, participate in committees, complete required training, and maintain EMR proficiency while upholding policy standards.

Qualificações

• Current RN license valid in CT.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Review and verify patient data prior to and during visits.
• Collaborate with physician to assess and treat symptoms.
• Perform telephone triage for patient concerns.
• Start peripheral IVs and manage ports.
• Administer chemotherapy and other drugs per standards.
• Document drug administration and billing.
• Ensure collection of lab specimens.
• Manage prescriptions, refills, and patient assistance paperwork.
• Education and counseling; informed consent.
• Travel to other clinics as needed (Middletown, Westbrook).
• Maintain EMR documentation.
