Job summary

Palo Verde Hematology/Oncology, Ltd. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the oncology/hematology infusion setting.

You will administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, monitor patient conditions, document data, and coordinate with physicians and staff while ensuring safety and adherence to policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school preferred.
• Minimum one year of chemotherapy experience preferred.
• Current Arizona RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Providers Card required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate patient care in oncology/hematology settings.
• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy under policy and protocol.
• Assess patient before, during, and after treatment and monitor labs and vitals.
• Document patient data accurately in chart and coordinate with team.
• Maintain infusion room flow and ensure sterile preparation and safety.
