Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Oncology Infusion Nurse in the Nashville, TN area to influence patient care through collaborative relationships with managers and hospital councils. You will support decisions that elevate patient outcomes and advance nursing practice.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and oncology-specific credentials. You will work within TriStar Centennial Medical Center’s team, contributing to comprehensive cancer care and a broad benefits program.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Administration Provider Card within 6 months of hire (12 months if no Oncology experience).
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or BMT Certified Nurse, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Promote hospital customer service initiatives.
• Utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
• Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
