Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking an LPN at our Venice Pinebrook Office to support physicians and RNs in patient care, including chemotherapy administration and patient education. Florida licensure, IV therapy experience, and oncology exposure are highly valued for this role.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, triage, charting, and ensuring accurate documentation. Travel to clinics may be required; a CPR certificate is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license required.
• Experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital preferred.
• Prior Oncology experience preferred.
• 30 hour IV certification course OR completion of 30 hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license in the resident state to travel to clinics.

• Assist physician and RNs in the care of patients by performing one or more of the following duties: -
• Administering chemotherapy agents -
• Preparing chemotherapy agents -
• Patient assessments/triage -
• Medical record documentation -
• Patient/family education
