Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our outpatient oncology and infusion team. You will provide individualized nutrition assessment, education, and support to cancer patients undergoing treatment.

Qualifications

RD/RDN credential and active licensure.
Oncology nutrition knowledge and experience preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork with cancer care team.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for oncology and infusion patients.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans based on oncology nutrition practices.
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and counseling on weight management, malnutrition, hydration, and survivorship nutrition.
Collaborate with oncologists, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other cancer care team members.
Monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and other cancer treatments for nutrition-related complications.
Educate patients on food safety, symptom management, and food-drug interactions specific to oncology treatment.
Document assessments, interventions, education, and outcomes in EMR.
Participate in tumor boards, patient care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Serve as a nutrition resource for staff, patients, and families.
