Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Oncology Intermediate Care Unit (6RP). This role leads a high-performing nursing team in a 36-bed inpatient setting, offering chemotherapy and complex cancer care within a Magnet-designated center.

The position is 40 hours per week, days shift, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient outcomes. Required BSN and RN license, plus BLS within 90 days.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required.
• BSN required.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS and ACLS preferred.
• 2 years RN experience required.
• Intermediate Care experience preferred.
• 1 year Nursing Leadership/Supervisory experience required.

Aufgaben

• Supervise Oncology Intermediate Care Unit registered nurses and support staff.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions; ensure safe chemotherapy delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for oncology patients.
• Lead shift operations, patient flow, and quality/safety initiatives.
